PT Kim Seah Shipyard Indonesia

PT Kim Seah Shipyard Indonesia is a subsidiary of Penguin Shipyard International. Based in Batam (45 minutes ferry ride from Singapore), PTKS undertakes the same scope of aluminium shipbuilding and repair projects as our shipyard in Singapore, albeit in a more spacious environment.

PTKS is equipped with a 250-metric ton straddle carrier, a 100m (L) x 40m (W) x 25m (H) covered workshop with a 20-ton overhead crane, and a 66m (L) x 21m (W) x 10m (H) covered workshop with a 5-ton overhead crane. By virtue of its expansive modern facilities and a dedicated local work force, PTKS serves as a strategic production hub of the Penguin group.
