Heavy Rescue Vessel (Red Manta)
Owner: Singapore Civil Defence Force
The HRV is a 35-knot FiFi-1 classed Fire Fighting Search-and-Rescue vessel. It is capable of rescuing up to 300 people at sea, and is outfitted with a Marine Tactical HQ Command Post Room, decontamination and first-aid facilities. The vessel is powered by four MTU 16V4000 main engines with four Hamilton H721 waterjets.
